U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Children’s Hospitals rankings were released today for 2015-2016, and Cincinnati Children’s has been named the No. 3 children’s hospital in the country for the fifth year in a row.
Cincinnati Children’s programs have again ranked in the top 10 for all 10 ranked specialties, making us an honor roll hospital for the seventh consecutive year. And this year, we’re also pleased to share that our division of Pulmonology has been ranked #1 in the country for the first time.
|Gastroenterology & GI Surgery||4|
|Neurology & Neurosurgery||6|
|Cardiology & Heart Surgery||7|
|Diabetes and Endocrinology||7|
Our newly-minted #1 pulmonary medicine program is one of the nation’s largest, with a full spectrum of services to treat the most common to the most unusual lung conditions. The pulmonary medicine team includes 28 physicians and researchers who help children with asthma, cystic fibrosis, sleep disorders and a variety of rare lung disorders. This team includes senior leaders in every subspecialty of lung care and no other program conducts more research. They work every day to make each breath easier for children with lung disease.
The annual U.S. News & World Report rankings provide important information to parents who are seeking the best medical care in the country for their children, and as always, we are honored to be ranked among the best of the best.
But, our greatest pride continues to come from the 15,000+ employees who work tirelessly every day to make the programs listed above – and the many that are not ranked here – some of the highest quality in the nation.
We are also incredibly proud of our patients and the obstacles they tackle, the milestones they meet and the accomplishments they achieve every single day. The children and young adults in our care are truly remarkable people and they inspire our entire organization to keep working hard for them.
We hope you’ll read more about our top 10 specialties by clicking the program name in the list above and join us today to celebrate the latest rankings as well as the remarkable young people and their families who make it all worth doing.
