Eliminating racial disparities in breastfeeding

Breastfeeding positively impacts the life course of both maternal and child health, however, great inequities in breastfeeding initiation and duration rates still occur, particularly in the African American community according to doctors at Cincinnati Children’s.

To help all mothers and babies reach their breastfeeding goals, a conference put on by experts at Cincinnati Children’s and UC recently took place to lend support.
