Vote Temporarily Postponed On Cincinnati Children’s Expansion Plan

Cincinnati City Council heard public comment but did not take official action on the zoning and street restructure needed for the Cincinnati Children’s planned critical care expansion.

A majority of Council – six members – have gone on record supporting the project, but due to the absence of three Council members, the vote was postponed.

If the plan is approved, it will allow initial construction activity to begin this fall on the 635,000 square foot tower that will include a patient tower, emergency department with helipad and parking garage.
