Why We Stopped Using Gonadal Shielding

Keith J. Strauss, our Radiology Department medical physicist, has been working in our department for over five years. He has been instrumental in reducing the radiation doses in x-ray images without sacrificing diagnostic image quality for the radiologists.

In this video tutorial, Keith explains why we have stopped using gonadal shielding on some of our x-ray exams.
