Meet Our New Additions to the Radiology Team

We’ve added three new additions to our radiology team this fall. Our new radiology employees include a hometown lad, a transplant from Georgetown, KY, and a Bachelors of Science in nursing (BSN) student. Let’s not wait any longer and get to know our new team members!

Tony Giordano is excited to work in the Nuclear Medicine Division of our Radiology Department, as a technologist. For 16 years Tony dreamed of working at Cincinnati Children’s and now that his wish has come true, he’s “pumped to have the chance!”

Tony was born and raised in Cincinnati, but now calls Northern Kentucky home. He’s been married to his beautiful wife Amanda for 16 years, with three kids: Bella (14), Lexi (10), and Jack (8). In his spare time he likes to train for triathlons and experience new restaurants with the family.

Generra D Canady-Slade goes by GiGi. She has worked for Cincinnati Children’s for almost two years now. Previously, GiGI was a patient escorter before she was hired on as one of our new reading room assistants. Currently, she’s in nursing school, working on getting her BSN.

Her hobbies are camping, reading and sleeping. When GiGi has some free time, she likes to go to the YMCA and teach dance class. She also volunteers for the volleyball team at her old high school.

GiGi commented that she’s very excited to start her new journey as a reading room assistant and meeting new people.

Rebecca (Becky) Watson is the new technologist to the Radiography/Fluroscophy team. Becky has been an x-ray technologist for five years. She graduated in 2012 from Spencerian College in Lexington, KY.

New to the area from Georgetown, KY, Becky enjoys spending time with her seven-year old daughter. They spend a lot of time outdoors, traveling to visit family and spending time with friends.

The Radiology Department would like to welcome these three new members to our team and family. We wish you all good luck in following your passions and fulfilling your dreams.
