Cincinnati Children’s Surgeon Wins Multicultural Leadership Award

Dr. Victor Garcia, founding director of Trauma Services at Cincinnati Children’s, was recently named Multicultural Leader at the 6th Annual Ohio Diversity Leadership Conference.

The statewide award, presented on October 24, recognizes individuals of color who have made a difference through their achievements and exemplary work in their field.

Dr. Garcia currently co-chairs CoreChange Cincinnati, an organization driven by community and institutional leaders that works to provide sustainable solutions for urban poverty, effective civic investment and shared accountability for urban problems.
