By helping parents, program aims to stop cycle of broken homes & violence
Cincinnati Children’s is playing a significant role in the effort to break the cycle of violence and broken homes for children in Cincinnati. The Every Child Succeeds program is collaborating with colleagues at Penn State University in a study called Family Foundations involving 11 in-home visits focusing on the parents’ relationship with each other and the child.
Parents Jason Mayes and Mikasha Stone and their daughter Jayla are participating in the study program and believe it has strengthened their relationship.
