Children’s Heart Institute to Hold Sudden Cardiac Arrest Q&A

Cincinnati Children’s Heart Institute is taking a proactive approach to preventing sudden death in student athletes.

The Heart Institute is conducting a live, online question and answer session with two Cincinnati Children’s cardiologists.

Families concerned about sudden cardiac arrest are invited to attend.

Jeffrey Towbin, MD, and John Lynn Jefferies, MD, will answer questions to help educate participants on the connection between genetics and sudden cardiac arrest in student athletes.

The event will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 9. Register here for the free online event.
