Cincinnati Children’s Building Apps for Young Patients to Track Health Status

Working with developers throughout the country, Cincinnati Children’s researchers are in the final stages of creating mobile health apps for kids with chronic conditions to get young patients more involved in their own care.

These apps will make it easy for kids and caregivers to track information, send it to doctors and even export it into electronic medical record systems in real time. The goal is to enhance clinical care by making it easier for doctors and patients to communicate outside the office.
