CPS Students Take Part in First Ever Science Club at South Avondale

Students in the 5th and 6th grades at South Avondale Elementary School participated in a new after-school science club as an opportunity to learn more about STEM-related careers. STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education.

Mentors from Cincinnati Children’s with a variety of backgrounds from research to nursing showed students how science is incorporated into everyday life with an emphasis on the science of food.
