Fluency Friday can help stop the stutter

Eleven-year-old Marco and his family traveled all the way from the Dominican Republic to attend the Fluency Friday event for children and teenagers who stutter. Attendees work with speech-language pathologists from Cincinnati Children’s and the University of Cincinnati in a support group-like setting.

“We are teaching him some skills to speak in a more relaxed easier manner,” said Irving Wollman, clinical director, Speech-Language Pathology.
