Flying Pig Marathon Winner Part of Cincinnati Children’s “Family”

Amy Robillard came in first place for the women’s division in the 2014 Flying Pig Marathon and is part of a family that has been positively affected by the work of the Cincinnati Children’s team.

Robillard’s family moved to Cincinnati four years ago after the birth of their son, Jameson, who was diagnosed with an immune deficiency disorder. He needed a bone marrow transplant at Cincinnati Children’s and he is now doing well.

In an article announcing Robillard’s Flying Pig victory, she emphasized her hope to be a good role model to her children: “When I think I’m tired and hurting, it’s nothing compared to what my son went through, so I can’t complain.”
