NBC’s Golf Channel tells the remarkable story of Ryan Korengel

This is the inspiring story of Ryan Korengel, who at age 12 while golfing was struck by a fallen tree limb, which crushed his skull.  He was transported to and cared for at Cincinnati Children’s.

There were concerns about his survival, but he did survive.  There were concerns about whether he would ever walk or talk again, but he does both.

In fact, today he attends Mt. St. Joe University and despite partial paralysis on his left side, he made the school’s golf team, swinging golf clubs with the use of only his right arm.

See Ryan’s amazing story on NBC’s Golf Channel.
