Mental Health Experts Give Advice on Suicide Prevention
In the wake of a University of Cincinnati student’s suicide, mental health professionals are offering tips on suicide prevention. Cathy Strunk, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center’s suicide prevention program director, is urging the public to pay attention to their loved ones – to listen and look for warning signs.
“You have to be suspicious. You have to start entertaining the fact, the idea, that this could be going on with this young person,” Strunk said.
