November Is World Prematurity Month, but for Cincinnati Children’s, It’s Year-Round
Dr. Louis Muglia, director of Cincinnati Children’s Center for Prevention of Preterm Birth, is committed to stopping premature births before they occur. He’s leading a research effort with the March of Dimes Prematurity Research Center Ohio Collaborative to identify and address its causes, making prematurity an emphasis all year at the hospital.
The March of Dimes is providing $10 million over five years to the collaborative to study the unknown causes of preterm birth, with the research being coordinated out of Cincinnati Children’s. Investigators from across Ohio are involved in the research.
