Proton therapy center to open ahead of schedule
The Proton Therapy Center at Liberty Campus expects to begin treating patients by late summer or early fall, months earlier than originally anticipated. With two clinical treatment bays and one research bay, the Proton Therapy Center has the capacity to treat 300 Cincinnati Children’s and University of Cincinnati patients per year.
“This is one of only two proton therapy centers owned by a pediatric hospital,” said Abram Gordon, executive director, Proton Therapy Center.
