This week’s patriotic tees pin comes from Kara at Kara’s Creative Place.
Kara used plastic cups, rubber bands, permanent markers and rubbing alcohol to create this cool tie-dye look without the hassle or mess of other tie-dye methods. Kids will love decorating their own shirts to wear for 4th of July celebrations. We love how easy and customizable these shirts are! Let your kids color the shirts however they want—each one will be unique.
With less drying time than puffy paints and no fussy iron-on patches, children of many ages and abilities can participate—if they can color with a marker, they can make a shirt!
Erin demonstrates another cute and simple idea for patriotic apparel at her blog CraftyErin. Let us know if you make one of these, and we’d love to hear from you if you have a fun idea of your own.
