Anesthesia Imaging Clinical Manager Announcement

I am pleased to announce that Liz Hood, BSN, RN, CPN, has accepted the clinical manager role in Anesthesia Imaging.

Liz has been with Anesthesia Imaging since July 2018 and has served as a charge nurse since July 2021. Liz began her career at Cincinnati Children’s in 2013 as a patient care assistant in Hematology/Oncology and transitioned to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in 2015 where she began her nursing career.

In her time with Anesthesia Imaging, she has participated in several committees and projects. Liz will be focusing on more of the day-to-day operations of Anesthesia Imaging staff within Radiology and Dental Clinic. This includes staffing, situational awareness, family experience, regulatory preparedness, and the interprofessional collaboration that is so vast in Radiology. She will have clinical duties as needed and help with staff development. I anticipate Liz’s presence will be key in strengthening the already great relationship between nursing and all the other Radiology modalities we work with. This will be crucial as we continue to grow and expand as a division.

Liz has a deep passion for Anesthesia Imaging and Radiology and seeing the success in its growth while caring for the individuals who make the department run. Congratulations, Liz Hood!
