Radiology Department Brings Gifts and Warmth to Local School

Cincinnati Children’s Radiology Department has gotten into the holiday spirit! This year our department adopted a first grade classroom at South Avondale School, located 2 miles from our main campus.

The Radiology Department sponsored the classroom by providing a holiday gift for each child. Each gift was picked out and wrapped up especially for that child. Along with the gifts, each child was able to choose a warm hat and gloves. The children greeted us warmly with hugs and smiles and enjoyed learning about what we do in Radiology. Each child shared what they love about school and then received their gift, gloves and hats. This group of first graders made the saying “giving is better than receiving” really come true for us. We look forward to going back and visiting soon!
