Cats of Radiology Contest 2017!

Cats of Radiology Contest 2017!

Yesterday was National Cat Day, which is observed each year on October 29. It was founded to help the public recognize the numbers of cats that need to be rescued. The day reminds cat owners and lovers to celebrate the felines in their lives for their unconditional love and companionship.

This year our “League of Laughs” division in our Radiology Department hosted its first “Cats of Radiology Contest.” Directed by our very own Sparkle Torruella, Radiology faculty and staff were encouraged to send in their favorite cat photos.

Congratulations to Amy Winer, an ultrasound technologists, for winning this year’s contest. Her cat Slylar easily stole the votes with her bright, icy blue eyes and tiny face.
