Cincinnati Children’s has its own medical library called the Edward l. Pratt Library. It houses an extensive library collection of pediatric material to aid researchers and clinicians. In order to retain our history of treatments of rare and complex conditions, the Pratt Library has created a string of interviews with acclaimed faculty and people who have made medical history. The name of this collection of interviews is the Heritage Video Series.

The Department of Radiology is honored to have two of its distinguished faculty added to this list of prominent interviews by the hospital. Dr. Diane S. Babcock is a hometown Cincinnatian. She received her BA from Cornell University and her MD from Northwestern University Medical School. Dr. Babcock was chief of the Section of Ultrasound from 1978-2000. Dr. Alan E. Oestreich, received his BA from Princeton University and his MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is in charge of the teaching program for fourth-year medical students. Dr. Oestreich has authored and contributed to numerous publications, such as serving as co-author of the textbook Atlas of Pediatric Orthopaedic Radiology and author of Pediatric Radiology — Medical Outline Series. He serves as a pediatric radiology editor for Yearbook of Diagnostic Radiology.

Congratulations to you both!
