Congratulations Pediatric Radiology 2018 Fellows, Part 1

Congratulations to the 68th Pediatric Radiology Fellowship Class for completing their year-long fellowship program at Cincinnati Children’s. They’ve worked so long and hard to get to this stage in their careers. As Fellowship Director Dr. Eric Crotty said at the graduation dinner, “Hopefully you get to pursue your dreams and get to where you want to be.”

Dr. Alan Chen received his B.S. in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and did his residency at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. After his fellowship, Dr. Chen will be going into private practice at Tallahassee, Florida.

Dr. Eric Diaz obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of California, San Diego and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering in 2007. He did his residency at the University of Cincinnati. After his fellowship, Dr. Diaz will be attending another fellowship program at Texas Children’s in the field of Pediatric Cardiac Imaging.

Dr. David Hunte received his B.S. in Biology at the University of Alabama and did his residency at the University of of Texas, El Paso. He still has family in Mobile, Alabama, and will continue for another six months at Cincinnati Children’s.

Dr. Yinan Li received his B.S. in Exercise Science and Sports Study, at Rutgers University. He completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Li will be continuing his fellowship for another year, at Cincinnati Children’s in the field of Musculoskeletal (MSK).

Dr. Morgan McBee and Dr. Eric Crotty

Dr. Morgan McBee received his B.S. of Computer & Information Technology at Marshall University and his Doctor of Medicine at West Virginia University. He attended his residency at the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center and was Chief Resident for two years. After fellowship, Dr. McBee will be going to the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Cara Morin and Dr. Eric Crotty

Dr. Cara Morin received her B.S. in Biology at the University of Maryland Baltimore, as well as her PhD in Molecular Biology and MD. After her fellowship, she will be going to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN.

Dr. Mitchell Rees received his B.A. at the University of Notre Dame. At the Ohio State University College of Medicine, he acquired his Doctor of Medicine (MD). He attended his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). After his fellowship, Dr. Rees will be going to Nationwide Children’s in Columbus, OH.

Dr. Saad Ranginwala received his B.A. in Biochemistry and was Magna Cum Laude at Northwestern University. He completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati and, after his fellowship, he will be going to Chicago, IL.
