Employee Appreciation Week at Cincinnati Children’s recognizes every Children’s employees’ tireless work, no matter what role they play in the organization. Throughout the week (and month), employees will find many ways to receive and to share appreciation. They’ll have the chance to win prizes and participate in fun events, which brings us to two Radiology employees who took time from their busy schedules to give a “Shout Out” to their favorite manager.

Kiss 107.1 was here at the Seacrest studios for shout-outs on the air for Cincinnati Children’s Employee Appreciation Week. Host DJ JonJon invited Debbie Brown and Catherine “Cat” Cook from Radiology’s IRC to give their “Shout-Out.”

The employee they wanted to show their appreciation for was their own business manager Cody Swords.

Cody Swords
  • “He listens to employees’ ideas and feedback and puts them into motion (depending on what they are) – as well as problem solves with you.”
  • “As he is learning every nook and cranny of the IRC, we are also learning new ways from him.”
  • “He is a joy to work with and understands the core values of Cincinnati Children’s.”

It says a lot about a person when your co-workers go out of their way to sing your praises to the hospital and to the world. That is the culture here at Cincinnati Children’s. We all look out for one another, as a team and as a family. Happy Employee Appreciation Week!
