You’ve taken your child to get his or her radiology test. Now how do you get the results?  Cincinnati Children’s has made this process easy with MyChart. You no longer have to wait for a call from your doctor or a letter to come in the mail.  Results are immediately available for x-rays, fluoroscopy, ultrasounds, and most nuclear medicine studies. Results for CT, MRI, and PET CTs are available after your physician reviews them or 48 hours after the exam, whichever occurs first. MyChart provides easy access to results and the ability to review them prior to your next appointment with your doctor.

MyChart also allows you to keep track of your child’s upcoming and past appointments; view current medications, allergies and immunizations; and review instructions given upon discharge. It is a one-stop hub to help you manage your child’s care.  A mobile app is also available for your Apple or Android phone.

MyChart is free a service offered to patients at Cincinnati Children’s and their parents or legal guardians. During your child’s next visit to our department, ask the registration clerk to help you sign up for MyChart. They will give you an activation code, which you can use to activate your account from home or one of our kiosks in the radiology waiting room. Access to MyChart never expires and is a secure and convenient way to keep you involved in your child’s care.
