Making Radiology “The Happiest Place on Earth” During Halloween

The last place anyone wants to spend Halloween in is a hospital. Radiology employees decided they wanted do what they could to make our patients’ visit on Halloween as enjoyable as possible. At the Burnet and Liberty campuses, radiology held a Disney-themed Halloween costume contest. During Registration, the children visiting radiology had the opportunity to vote on their favorite pumpkin that was decorated by a radiology employee.

When it was time for their appointment, patients were greeted by our staff dressed in their Disney-themed costume. Upon leaving, children received a toy or Halloween sticker to take home.

It was fun for the children and staff and we can’t wait to do it again next year!
