Here is the second half of our Radiology Clinical Fellows, Class of 2020.
Dr. Joshua “Josh” Wermers comes to us from Aurora, Colorado. He attended medical school at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado, and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Missouri – Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dr. Wermers’ girlfriend, Rimpi, is a radiology resident in Kansas City. He has two adopted dogs: Tyson, a German shepherd and Bear, a Lab mix.
“I chose radiology because it combined my interests in computing/technology and medicine. My favorite part of medicine was making the diagnosis and radiology allowed me to become the diagnostician.”
In his off time, his hobbies include cooking, eating out and gastronomy. He also dabbles in computers and technology. The last book he read was the The Drunken Botanist by Amy Stewart and the last movie he saw was “A Star is Born.”
Dr. Roberto Galuppo Monticelli comes to us from Caracas, Venezuela. Caracas is the capital and largest city is Venezuela, located along the Guaire River in the northern part of the country.
He completed medical school at Universidad Central de Venezuela and did his residency at the University of Kentucky. He finished his first fellowship at the Interventional Radiology at Dotter Institute – Oregon Health and Science University.
Dr. Galuppo Monticelli is happily married to his wife Maria Daniela. They are also the proud parents of their cat, Tiziano.

His hobbies include kiteboarding, snowboarding, and other boardsports, CrossFit, running and soccer. His favorite book is One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. The last movie that he saw was “Midsommar.”
Glenn Miñano is a media specialist in the Department of Radiology, providing graphic design, photography, printing, video services, and administration of the department’s online properties. His works have been published in several medical articles, such as the American Journal of Radiology and the American Institute of Ultrasound. He has been providing these services to the Radiology Department since 1996.
