Liberty Campus Introduces 2nd MRI Scanner

At the same time as the US News announced that Cincinnati Children’s has moved up in ranking to #2, our Liberty campus also announced a #2 – the opening of the second MRI scanner on the campus. The second scanner at our Liberty facility will provide our families with an increase in MR scanning availability, including an increase in the number of patients we can scan under anesthesia. This will reduce our back-log for anesthesia appointments. The new scanner is a 1.5 tesla Philips Ingenia system, offering both 1.5 and 3.0 tesla scans at the Liberty Campus. The addition of this technology will allow an expansion of services to include some scans that we were unable to perform at Liberty, due to either a restriction based upon field strength or the lack of the applications to do so.

We continue to offer the same outstanding services that we have provided for the last ten years, including both anesthesia and non-sedate services. Our hours remain the same, Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., and we continue to have the same exceptional staff to support our patients’ needs.

To schedule your MRI appointment at our Liberty Campus, please call (513) 636-3200.
