May Gold Medals

May Gold Medals

May has been a big month for our current and former Radiology faculty at Cincinnati Children’s. At the Society for Pediatric Radiology (SPR) meeting in Nashville, Dr. Neil Johnson of the Interventional Radiology Department received the SPR’s Gold Medal, The Society for Pediatric Radiology’s most distinguished honor. The SPR Gold Medal is awarded to pediatric radiologists and others who have contributed greatly to the SPR and the subspecialty of pediatric radiology as a scientist, teacher, personal mentor and leader.

At the American College of Radiology (ACR) meeting in Washington, DC, Dr. Marilyn Goske, who has since retired from the Radiology Department, received the ACR Gold Medal. The ACR Gold Medal is awarded by the Board of Chancellors to an individual for distinguished and extraordinary service to the American College of Radiology or to the discipline of radiology.

These are remarkable achievements and reflect the excellence of our department over many years. Congratulations to Dr. Neil Johnson and Dr. Marilyn Goske!
