Meet the Team: Dr. Neil Johnson

Dr. Neil D. Johnson grew up in Australia, where he received his medical training at Melbourne University. He then moved to the University of Rochester Medical Center for his fellowship in radiology, after which he joined our Radiology family at Cincinnati Children’s.

He’s an amateur mechanic and pilot. Playing the piano is also one of his talents. To learn more about Dr. Johnson and how he got into the field of radiology, please watch our video.

Alex is a radiologist and the Neil D. Johnson Chair of Radiology Informatics. In this role, he helps to manage the information systems used by the Radiology department. Clinically, Alex is the Assistant Director of thoracoabdominal imaging. His research interests include liver disease, liver tumors, inflammatory bowel disease, and appendicitis.
