New Liberty Employees

This year we have been remarkably busy over at the Cincinnati Children’s Liberty campus with research projects, construction and the hiring of new employees. We recently welcomed two new technologists and one Child Life SpecialistRead their short biographies below to learn more about them.

Hi, my name is Alexa Frase. I recently graduated from Xavier University with my Radiologic Technology degree. I grew up in the Cincinnati area and I am so glad to be a part of Cincinnati Children’s! The high school I attended, Lakota East High School, is right next door to Children’s Liberty Campus.

My hobbies include riding horses and hanging out with my family. I chose Cincinnati Children’s Hospital because I love the people and working with kids. The hospital is such an amazing environment to work in.

Hi everyone, my name is Kayla Wright! I am from Fairfield, Ohio. I attended Fairfield High School and later attended college at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. I chose Cincinnati Children’s because I did my clinical training here during my time at Xavier and fell in love with the environment and the techs around me. I just knew I had to come back after I graduated!

In my spare time, I like to cook and spend time with my close friends exploring the Cincinnati area. The last movie I watched was Home (2015 film)!

I’m Natalie Jablonski and I’m the new Child Life Specialist at Children’s Liberty Campus. My hometown is Milwaukie, Wisconsin.

I received my degree at Marquette University, Wisconsin, and my master’s degree at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin. I volunteered at the teen advisory council at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin during my high school and undergraduate years. I was teamed with a Child Life Specialist and was amazed at the way they interacted with patients there and how they normalized the hospital experience. After that I knew what I wanted to do.

My hobbies include listening to audiobooks. I do not enjoy running. I like baking, cooking, kayaking, camping, and just being outdoors. And yes, I do know how to start a fire. The last audiobook that I listened to was The Rose Code, which was about women from England helping to decode Nazi communication during WWII.

So far, I love Cincinnati, but I’m not a fan of the hot and humid weather. I’m familiar with Cicadas but wasn’t aware of the seventeen-year brood cycle here.
