Radiology Gives Back

Over the last year, radiology staff committed to giving back to our community, radiology families in need, and the organizations that participate in United Way.

Each year, radiology employees contribute to United Way, and this year we had an increase from 35% department participation to 50% participation! Last month, radiology teams competed against each other for the highest participation rate and a chance to squish a pie in the faces of our radiology leadership staff.

We also hosted fundraisers for two organizations that our employees felt passionate about: A local food pantry owned by the grandparents of an employee provides free food and toiletries to locals who need a little help. Radiology employees at the main hospital department donated hundreds of food items and toiletries.

We also raised funds for International Mosaic Down Syndrome Association (IMDSA), which was selected to honor an employee’s niece who was born with Mosaic Down Syndrome. At the Liberty campus, radiology partnered with Catch-A-Fire Pizza and raised $140 for IMDSA.
