Radiology Large Conference Room Under Construction

For the past month and a half, our Radiology Large Conference Room has been going through a major construction renovation.

Not only does the Department of Radiology use the room, but the Emergency Department does as well. During times of crisis, such as an event in which the hospital is expecting numerous casualties, the large conference room becomes the control center for the hospital because it is centrally located. At times it has become a PR room for politicians and dignitaries, such as when First Lady Melania Trump visited the hospital.

Today we’re near the point of completion. After a year of planning and long meetings, we are finally getting a fully updated room that will satisfy everyone who uses it. In the first week of September, the Radiology Large Conference Room should be open for business. So stay tuned…
