Please welcome Debra Nickell and Shelly Holt to our Radiology family. Both Debra and Shelly are nurses in the Anesthesia Imaging Department. Nurses work in conjunction with our MRI Division.

Hi, I’m Debra Nickell. I have been an RN for almost 30 years. I graduated from Northern Kentucky University (NKU) in 1991. I have been with Cincinnati Children’s for 10.5 years at the Liberty Emergency Department prior to my transfer to Anesthesia Imaging (AI). I have prior experience with adults in ICU, ED and Electrophysiology.

I have two adorable boxers (Rosie and Zeus) and a cat (Smoky). I love my fur babies. My hobbies include walking and playing with my dogs, reading, and spending quality time with my family. I also love to go camping, hiking and sightseeing with my sisters. My husband Jim and I have been married for 18 years.

Hi, my name is Michelle “Shelly” Holt. I was born and raised in the West Side of Cincinnati, but I also lived briefly in Indiana and Illinois and now reside on the East Side.

I chose the medical field on a whim but knew I always wanted to work with children. Also, once I took Anatomy & Physiology as a prerequisite, I was all in! The nursing profession suits me well!

My hobbies are gardening, watching sports, and spending quality time with my two sons. The last book I read was When They Call You A Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir by Patrisse Khan-Cullors and Asha Bandele.
