Recognizing Three Faculty in Receiving Research Funding

Our Radiology Department would like to recognize three faculty members who have been granted funding for their research. Congratulations Mark DiFrancesco, PhD, Diana Lindquist, PhD and Jonathan Dillman, MD!

Dr. DiFrancesco received an award from the Department of Defense for his research “Establishing Network Connectivity and Microvascular Imaging Biomarkers for Tuberous Sclerosis.” Dr. Lindquist received a CCTST T1 Pilot Award for “Amide proton transfer contrast MRI to quantify liver fibrosis.” Dr. Dillman was awarded the Helmsley Charitable Trust for his research in “Artificial Intelligence Prediction of Meaningful Outcomes in Newly Diagnosed Small Bowel Crohn’s Disease.” Between the three researchers, the awards total approximately $4.3 million.

All that work translates into publications that inform the rest of the world of our challenging work, benefiting other researchers so that patients can receive better care. Congratulations again to our researchers!
