By: Glenn Miñano

Our Radiology blog launched in 2014. Through hard work and perseverance, we have posted over 750 blog articles! Thanks to our blog team, both current and former members, we could not have achieved this feat. Out of all of the blog articles we have posted, three stand out as the most viewed relating to radiology. Here are the top three Radiology blog articles:

Number 3:

Front Knee Pain: A Common Symptom In Children

“The knee is the largest joint in the body and where most growth occurs. Pain in the front (anterior) part of the knee is a very common symptom in children.”

At 5,704 views, this article comes in at number three!

Number 2:

Is it safe for my child with braces to have an MRI?

“Prior to MR imaging, the patient must be free of removable metal objects like coins and keys, as metal objects may cause safety hazards for the patient. Some metal objects cannot be easily removed, like braces or implantable medical devices. Because of this, some patients may not undergo MR imaging because of the risk of damage to the devices or heating resulting in damage to surrounding tissues.”

At 8,789 views, this article comes in at number two!

Number 1:

What’s the difference between a CAT-Scan and a CT-Scan?

“A CT-scan is a widely used diagnostic exam preformed all over the world. This exam has been associated with a CAT-Scan. Are these two exams different or are they the same?”

Coming in at number 1 with 14,313 views, this is our most viewed Radiology blog article so far!

Will these three stay at the top rankings? Maybe and maybe not–we’ll find out next year. Stay healthy, everyone!
