The Radiology Department has some new faces to introduce. Please welcome Christina M. Crofoot and Dr. Yunus E Senturk. Christina is a new imaging technologist in our Radiography/Fluoroscopy Division and Dr. Yunus E Senturk is a new Neuroradiology Clinical Fellow. To learn more about them, please keep reading below…

My name is Christina Crofoot and I have been a radiology technologist for 18 years. I had always been steered into the medical field by my parents and on a chance, decided to try radiology.

I have been married for 18 years and have four kids. My life is very busy being a taxi driver for all my kids, taking them to their extra curricular activities.  When I do get a chance, I love to read.

Fun fact: I have three dogs and twelve chickens.

Dr. Yunus Emre Senturk grew up in Turkey. He went to medical school at the University of Hacettepe in Ankara, Turkey.

“Imaging a child’s brain is always challenging. Children always surprise radiologists by showing various imaging findings. I believe I will have so much opportunity to discover the most exclusive part of radiology by diving deep into the child’s brain. I am grateful for this chance.”

Dr. Senturk chose radiology because he believes he could address patients’ concerns without implementing any invasive techniques. He thinks correct diagnosis is always a crucial step.

His hobbies include reading about history, taking care of his child, and playing soccer. He is a father, a husband and a student in every aspect of life.

Contributions by Jennifer Toms (Senior Executive Assistant).
