Welcome, Katy Willen!

Welcome, Katy Willen!

Katy Willen is our new Interventional Radiology nurse. Katy was born in Park Hills in Northern KY. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy. She is a very devoted University of Kentucky (UK) basketball fan.

Her mom is a nurse and has worked at Cincinnati Children’s Katy’s entire life in Diabetes/Endocrinology. Katy saw many wonderful opportunities her mom had working here and decided to follow in her footsteps.

Katy graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing in 2015. Recently, she had her first baby, Georgia Kate, in November 2018. Since New Year’s Eve 2016, Katy has been married to her husband Matt. They also have their sweet Golden Doodle, Wrigley.

Outside of work she loves to explore new restaurants in Over-the-Rhine and spend time with her family. She is most excited about being able to finally enjoy some warm and sunny weather.
