Welcome, Myra Saeed!

Welcome, Myra Saeed!

Cincinnati Children’s offers a one-year Administrative Fellowship program, which offers participants the opportunity to develop an understanding of the administration and operations of a leading pediatric medical center, as well as practical experience relevant to a fellow’s field of study/work. The fellows are generally recent graduates of healthcare administration-related master’s degree programs or other master’s level-or-above degrees that also have background, experience, and interest in healthcare, or those currently enrolled in an MHA or MBA program requiring a one-year residency/fellowship. This year, Cincinnati Children’s is hosting five administrative fellows and our Radiology Department has been asked to precept one of them.

Myra Saeed is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan, Master of Public Health in Health Management & Policy, with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ohio State. Her hometown is none other than our own Cincinnati.

When asked, what made you choose your career path?

“It was a combination of all my passions coming together. Many experiences in public health and mental health as well as interests in addressing population health and disparities led me to look at how pediatric institutions had both the commitment and expertise to make lifelong impacts in communities and set children up for success.”

Myra’s parents still live in Cincinnati and she has a sister living in Columbus. Her hobbies are discovering new restaurants and coffee shops, reading and hanging out with friends and family.

The last movie she saw was “Spiderman: Far From Home” and the last book she read was If Beale Street Could Talk.
