Cincinnati Children’s Radiologists Attending SPR

SPR (Society for Pediatric Radiology) is a professional membership association for pediatric radiologists and technologists. Members of SPR hold a conference every year where pediatric imaging professionals gather to share and discuss their research, clinical projects and latest accomplishments in the imaging field.

Radiologists from Cincinnati Children’s attend this annual event. This year our faculty will be delivering approximately 40 presentations during this prestigious five day meeting. Their presentation topics range from “State-of-the-Art Body MR Imaging” to “Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound.” In addition to presenting, Dr. Tal Laor will be awarded the Presidential Recognition Award for her outstanding work in pediatric imaging. It is safe to say that our radiologists will be at the center of SPR ‘17!

While the long list of presentations is impressive, our faculty and Radiology professionals attending this year’s SPR meeting are incredibly excited to learn what other radiologists are doing in the country. Attending these special conferences allow our radiologists to grow both clinically and academically. Dr. Jonathan Dillman, who will be presenting at least five times this year, said, “I am most looking forward to learning how to better take care of children, presenting our innovative research results, and catching up with friends!” Continued education and collaboration is important, especially when it comes to blazing the trail in pediatric imaging and providing your child with the best possible care.
