Don’t Forget To Reset Your Clocks!

Don’t Forget To Reset Your Clocks!

Daylight saving time is over, it’s time to “fall back.” The official time to turn the clocks back an hour is at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1. For example, the time will go back to 1 a.m. It will start to get darker earlier in the day. The amount of daylight will shorten each day until the winter solstice on Dec. 21. Daylight saving time begins again on March 14, when clocks “spring forward.”

With the Energy Policy Act of 2005 the start and stop dates for daylight saving time is on the second Sunday in March and ends the first Sunday in November. The thinking behind daylight saving time is to better manage daylight during the spring and summer months, such as an extra hour of sunlight in the evening rather than in the morning.

Even though the current time has changed our Radiology Department schedule at Cincinnati Children’s has stayed the same.
