Introducing Our Class of 2020 Radiology Fellows, Part 3

The final member of our 2020 Radiology Fellowship Class is Dr. Felipe Gabriel Rodriquez Ruiz.

Dr. Ruiz comes to us from Caguas, Puerto Rico. Caguas was founded January 1st, 1775. Originally called San Sebastián del Piñal de Caguax, Caguas derives its name from a local Indian chief (Caguax), who was an early Christian convert.



Dr. Ruiz received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico and his Doctors in Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.

Dr. Ruiz is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. His hobbies include sports, reading, drawing, traveling and learning about other cultures.

His works have been published in several medical articles, such as the American Journal of Radiology and the American Institute of Ultrasound. He has been providing these services to the Radiology Department since 1996.
