January 2022 Radiology Patient Experience Update

How are we doing?

In December, 89.1% of the 355 families surveyed gave us a 9 or 10 for “Overall rating of the facility.”

The Radiology FY 22 PE Goal is 92.0% 9/10s “Overall Rating”

Family Feedback

Molly treated my son with so much compassion. Her manner was soft spoken, comforting, and easy to understand. She expressed the technical aspect of the testing beautifully so we were at ease. We appreciated her sweet nature very much.  Molly is a great asset to the hospital!

I was worried not being able to go in since I am pregnant, but my son loved the techs and I think they had as much fun with him as he did with them.

Ms. Berke was very kind and professional. She explained the procedure, why it was safe, and where to see the results.

This was an unbelievably wonderful experience!  From the lady at the registration desk who was awesome to the X-ray tech who took the images, this was the best visit I’ve ever had at a hospital in all the years I’ve been a mom (16).  I’ve lived in several states and a few countries and just wow!  Definitely a 10/10 from this happy mom!!! Job well done, you guys!!!

The radiology techs that we encountered were probably the friendliest radiology techs I’ve ever had at Children’s. I thank them for their kindness.

Thank you all so much! The doctor and technicians were friendly and accommodating and made this the easiest process. I was so beyond impressed! Thank you again for exceeding all expectations and making this a joyful experience for my kid!

The nurse and the tech were extremely courteous, professional, patient and informative. I really appreciate all of their efforts in the time that they took with my son and myself. My son speaks slowly and softly and they didn’t seem annoyed or impatient. They explained in great detail what to expect. Major kudos to the nurse and tech.

Child Life specialist Chelsea was phenomenal! This was the first time for my child to have a catheter and she did not want to do it, but Chelsea talked her through and showed her the kit and her sensory balls. She let her play on her tablet and made it as seamless as possible. She was amazing! At the end, my daughter asked her if she could give her a hug and she, of course, said “yes.” It made her day and what could have been a scary medical experience not scary! Thank you for child life!! They are so essential!

Gina, Becky, and Natalie were awesome and helpful. Can’t thank them enough for the pleasant experience, which was an unknown variable for our family coming in. Truly appreciate them and their work.
