Radiology Celebrates National Employee Appreciation Day

The first week of March 2020, before everyone got to know the term “social distancing,” was a happy time in our Radiology Department. In fact, the rest of the hospital, including Radiology, was celebrating National Employee Appreciation Day. The hospital and Radiology planned a full week of celebration, appreciation, and activities.

Drop boxes were placed everywhere in the Radiology department so that employees could fill out appreciation cards for their co-workers. On Wednesday, the department celebrated with a free luncheon of various pizzas, salads and drinks. On Friday, everyone received an appreciation gift of an insulated Cincinnati Children’s printed logo lunch bag.

The week of celebration was Cincinnati Children’s and Radiology’s own way to thank their employees for their hard work and effort throughout the year. March 6th was created for the purpose of strengthening bonds and camaraderie.

Stay healthy everyone!
