Please help us welcome our Class of 2021 Radiology Clinical Fellows! Three fellows from last year are continuing their fellowship education for another second year: Dr. Abu Ata is our 2nd-Year Body MRI Fellow, Dr. Brown is our 2nd-Year, Neuroradiology Fellow and Dr. Rodriguez is our IR Fellow.

Below is a quick introductory bio of the new fellows. Look out for video introductions in future blog posts.

Dr. Katherine N. Epstein

Dr. Katherine N. Epstein graduated from the University of Michigan and received her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science Chicago Medical School. She likes Yoga, hiking, cycling and spending time with family.

Dr. Viet T. Le

Dr. Viet T. Le graduated from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She received her medical degree from the University of Missouri. She is fluent in Vietnamese. She likes to hike, travel, explore new restaurants and coffee shops, and cook. She also loves trivia and game nights with family and friends!

Dr. Corey R. Matthews

Dr. Corey R. Matthews graduated from Eastern Arizona College and Benedictine College. He received his medical degree from Midwestern University, AZCOM. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, lifting weights, jogging, woodworking and playing golf. He is also a die-hard Arizona Wildcats basketball fan.

Dr. Joseph K. McCrary

Dr. Joseph K. McCrary graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He traveled to Haiti for a medical mission trip.

Dr. James G. Morris

Dr. James G. Morris graduated from Miami University and received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, swimming, cooking, home improvement, video games, movies and airplane modeling.

Dr. Rupesh P. Patel

Dr. Rupesh P. Patel graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine. He loves dogs, travel and video games.

Dr. Nicholas M. Thomas-Bock

Dr. Nicholas M. Thomas-Bock graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He enjoys playing golf, tennis, road biking, hiking, training his Golden doodle puppy, and spending time with family.

Dr. Jonathon D. Weber

Jonathon D. Weber graduated from our own University of Cincinnati and received his medical degree from UC’s College of Medicine. His interests are rock climbing and playing the guitar.

His works have been published in several medical articles, such as the American Journal of Radiology and the American Institute of Ultrasound. He has been providing these services to the Radiology Department since 1996.
