Hi, my name is Samjhana Thapaliya, but you can call me Sam. I am originally from Nepal and received my B.S from Cleveland State University and M.D from the American University of the Caribbean.

Before medical school, I worked at Cleveland Clinic doing research in liver diseases. I joined Dr. Andrew Trout’s Cincinnati Children’s Radiology research team to learn and have experience in Clinical Radiology research. I will be working on projects that involve the utilization of the non-invasive techniques to assess the structural and functional severity of liver, pancreatic and gall bladder diseases.

My hobbies include travel, tennis, running and yoga. I’m excited to be part of the Radiology family!
