Please welcome Neeraja Mahalingam to our Radiology family. Neeraja is from Beavercreek, Ohio, the second largest suburb of Dayton.

Neeraja is a Research Assistant III in our Imaging Reseach Center (IRC) Division and will be working on projects relating to magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP). Cholangiopancreatography is imaging of the biliary tree and pancreatic ducts.

She attended the University of Cincinnati and obtained her BS and MS in Biomedical Engineering. Neeraja chose research because of how much learning and development are involved. She also liked how collaborative it is. There are many opportunities to work with diversely thinking people, and Neeraja believes she can learn a lot from that.

Her hobbies include going to CycleBar and Orangetheory Fitness (a type of high-intensity interval training), cooking, and playing the ukulele.
