Patient Access Services Week is April 2-8, 2023

This week, Radiology celebrates and acknowledges our Patient Access Representatives (PAR). The PAR at the front desk is the first point of contact when patients arrive for their Radiology outpatient visits. They greet families, verify contact information, register the patient, set up MyChart accounts, answer questions, collaborate and communicate with clinical teams, address concerns about delays and scheduling issues, and they do it all with compassion and kindness.

They set the tone for the Radiology visit and provide care and support for anxious patients and families in the waiting room.

Our PARs are the true “front line” of the department. They continuously strive to elevate our services and reduce anxiety for patients and their families.

Thank you to our PARs in Mason, Kentucky, Anderson, Kenwood and on Main Campus for sending us your portraits.
