I love dual-purpose activities, especially when one of them involves food. When the other involves keeping my boys entertained, it’s the perfect match. So when I saw the snowman pancakes blog post on kidactivitiesblog.com, I knew it would fit the two-functions-one-activity bill well. Plus, who doesn’t love pancakes?

In her post, Kim walks us through three simple steps to make them. The third step is all about decorating! I think I’m going to get creative and see what healthy decoration ideas I can come up with. Maybe blueberries for the eyes, nose, buttons, and yogurt for snow? Or raisins for the eyes and oatmeal for the snow? The possibilities are endless!
