Valentine’s Day creeps up on me every year. I think I’m just so thankful to get through the November-to-January holiday season that I’m in complete denial another holiday is about to round the corner.

And here it is. Three days away. As much as I would love for us to hand-make some of the adorable Valentine’s Day cards I’ve seen on Pinterest, I think we’re simply running out of time for an involved activity like that.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t find the time for a simple activity to get into the Valentine’s Day spirit! I found this textured yarn heart activity by Jamie Reimer on the blog Hands On As We Grow, and it looks simple to make and totally fridge-worthy!

And I like that it looks easily adaptable to different skill levels. My oldest will enjoy drawing and cutting, and my youngest will like putting sticky things on paper.
