The Ebola virus is highly infectious, causes hemorrhagic fevers and kills half of those infected. A current Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has already killed hundreds of people.

Right now, researchers at Cincinnati Children’s are conducting a clinical trial on an experimental vaccine with the hope of finding a cure for this devastating virus. The doctors involved with the study explain why this vaccine is so important and how they are studying it.
